Privacy notice
This notice explains what I do with personal information collected through this website and through training enquiries. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
Who is responsible
Mental Health & Mindfulness is a trading name of Bristol Relationships Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17311903. Registered office: 99 Canterbury Road, Whitstable, Kent CT5 4HG. Bristol Relationships Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.

What I collect
- Enquiries. Your name, email address, organisation, and whatever you choose to put in the message, whether that arrives by the contact form or by email.
- Training delivery. Where a session is booked, the attendee list agreed with the person booking it, and the anonymous scores from the start and end of session cards.
- Website use. Standard analytics and cookie data collected by Squarespace, which hosts this site.
Why I hold it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and arrange training. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver a booked session and report back to whoever booked it. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
I do not use enquiry details for marketing. There is no mailing list attached to this site.
Session materials and the summary report
The reflection pages written during a workshop stay with the person who wrote them. I do not collect them, read them, or copy them. The measurement cards are scored one to ten and carry no name unless the person chooses to tick the follow-up box and write their email address.
The one-page summary sent to whoever booked the session reports the shift in the room and the themes that came up. It is anonymised, and nothing in it identifies an individual. I say this out loud in the room so people can speak freely.
Who else sees it
Squarespace hosts this website and processes form submissions. My email is hosted by a third-party provider. Accounting records are shared with my accountant. Nobody else receives your information, and none of it is sold, rented, or passed to any other organisation for their own purposes.
Where a provider stores data outside the UK, that transfer is covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.
How long it is kept
- Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to twelve months, then deleted.
- Booking and delivery records: six years from the end of the relevant financial year, because HMRC requires it.
- Measurement scores: retained in anonymised form only.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, object to how I am using it, or ask me to restrict its use. Email the address above and I will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Squarespace to keep the site working and to measure how it is used. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner, or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works either way.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, tell me first and I will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
